Servora Adds Google Checkout to its Ecommerce Solution
November 2, 2010 06:58 PM

Walnut, CA – Nov. 2, 2010 – Servora Inc., a leading provider of on-demand CRM, ERP, Accounting, and Ecommerce applications for small and mid-sized companies, today announced the availability of Google Checkout for online merchants utilizing Servora’s Ecommerce solution. Google Checkout integrates with Servora in two areas: Ecommerce website and payment/processing within Servora’s ERP solutions. Servora’s Ecommerce integration with Google Checkout will help increase online sales by reducing shopping cart abandonment. Also, Google Checkout’s integration with Servora’s ERP solutions automates the web orders payment process, which increases operational efficiency and eliminates the need for manual data entry.

In addition to traditional payment options such as PayPal and credit cards, Servora’s Ecommerce websites will now include Google Checkout as another payment option. Google Checkout is a safe and secure payment option for shoppers and its Checkout’s Payment Guarantee offers fraud protection. First time shoppers can create a Google Checkout account from the merchant’s site by entering basic information such as contact details, payment preferences, and shipping information only once. Returning customers can simply click on the Google Checkout icon and login. An added layer of security is provided when making purchases via Google Checkout. Consumer credit card information and email addresses can remain anonymous to the Ecommerce merchant. This gives shoppers peace of mind that their personal and financial information is not shared with Ecommerce merchants. Also, this payment option will increase conversions and boost sales as it attracts online shoppers that are not comfortable with sharing their payment information with online merchants other than Google.

Not only can the online merchants increase conversion rates and boost sales with Google Checkout, time spent on online order-fulfillment can also be decreased. As payment is received from Google Checkout, the payment information will automatically post onto Servora’s Order-Fulfillment Module and Accounting Module. This eliminates the need to manually receive payments and post the payment onto your general ledger.

For online merchants using Servora Ecommerce solution, integrating Google Checkout to their website only takes a few steps. In addition to lower costs for merchants, adding Google Checkout to a list of accepted payment options offers Ecommerce customers flexibility regarding their payment methods.
